Journey to success

Global Building Services is a private minority-owned business that has valued the representation of its individual employees over investors for over 35 years. GBS was founded by Julio Belloso, an entrepreneurial success story of someone who achieved the American dream. Starting from humble beginnings, Belloso immigrated from Guatemala with no formal education to lay the foundation for this company that set its roots servicing just a single client with the help of only two other supervisors. Today, Global building Services operates nationwide servicing some of the most well-known Fortune 500 companies. We contribute our achievements and success over the last three decades to our committed staff members, some of which who have served with the company since its early inception. We benefit from a company-wide dedication to hard work and a high standard of what good looks like. As a service provider, people are the heart of Global Building Services. Our team is comprised of seasoned janitorial professionals with a diverse background in many uprights including retail and commercial cleaning. Dedicated to innovation, GBS President, Jess Settem, serves as a thought leader in a variety of capacities throughout the janitorial industry, actively participating in think-tanks, advisory boards, expert panels, and collaborative technology ventures to further our knowledge and share ideas within the industry to better protect those we serve. The strength of GBS is grounded in the operational infrastructure built over the last 35+ years which has established our foothold in leading the industry in operational excellence, premier process development, and hunger to innovate.
